Announcing the 2018 Shopify Unite Livestream Events

One of the most valuable takeaways for partners at Unite, Shopify’s annual partner and developer conference, are the face-to-face connections made in real life. This year, we want to bring those invaluable connections to as many Shopify Partners as possible. That’s why we’re proud to announce the Shopify Unite Livestream Events—a series of meetup-style events held around the world, sponsored by Shopify and hosted by local Shopify Partners. Read on to see if we’re coming to you!

The goal of Unite, Shopify’s annual partner and developer conference, is to educate and inspire our ecosystem. We bring together Shopify Partners from around the world for three days of discussion on the complexities of entrepreneurship, the needs of our merchants, and the biggest trends impacting the commerce industry.

But there’s more to Unite than just the talks—in fact, the face-to-face connections made are some of the most valuable takeaways for our partners. And we want to spread those invaluable connections to as many Shopify Partners around the world as possible.

That’s why we’re proud to announce the Shopify Unite Livestream Events, a series of meetup-style events held around the world, sponsored by Shopify and hosted by local Shopify Partners.

These events will happen simultaneous to the conference, and will feature a livestream of the Unite keynotes, host conversations with local partners, and create opportunities for networking.

Attending a Shopify Unite Livestream Event

Unite is all about coming together as a community and sharing our challenges, lessons learned, and triumphs. There are product announcements, industry talks, and unique opportunities to connect.

If you’re not able to attend this year’s Unite in Toronto, running May 7-9, we still want to give you the opportunity to make those connections at one of our four livestream events.

We also recognize that partners around the world will find inspiration and see opportunity in the Unite announcements in different ways. These livestream events are meant to be a place to discuss Shopify’s roadmap with your local peers, and make room for communities around the world to come together and discuss how products released at Unite will impact each region’s unique context.

No two location’s events will be exactly the same, but overall, this is what you can expect from a Shopify Unite Viewing Event.

Watch the livestream

We’ll livestream the keynotes from Unite, so you’ll get the same information at the same time as Unite attendees. Hear from Shopify executives, get a glimpse of Shopify’s roadmap, and be the first to hear about exciting product launches and updates.

Participate in discussions

Keynotes on the livestream will be followed by panel discussions, AMAs, or presentations, depending on which city’s event you attend. Expect localized content with real relevance to your business.

Meet other partners
