To be eligible for this Welcome Offer, you must reside (if you are a sole proprietor) or be organized or registered (if you are an entity) in the United States, and not have currently or previously held a Shopify Credit Card Account.
Receive Up to US$2,000 Shop Cash Offer Campaign Credits
If you meet the eligibility requirements for this Welcome Offer and meet one or more Spend Threshold (as defined below) in Eligible Purchases within the first three (3) months of opening your Card Account (such three (3) month period, the “Promotional Period”), you may qualify and receive up to US$2,000 in Shop Cash Offer Campaign Credits.

- If you spend US$5,000 in total Eligible Purchases during the Promotional Period (the “$5,000 Spend Threshold”), you will qualify and receive US$250 in Shop Cash Offer Campaign Credits (the “$250 Shop Cash Offer Bonus”).
- If you spend US$10,000 in total Eligible Purchases during the Promotional Period (the “$10,000 Spend Threshold”), you will qualify and receive an additional US$750 in Shop Cash Offer Campaign Credits (the “$750 Shop Cash Offer Bonus”). This $750 Shop Cash Offer Bonus will be in addition to the previous $250 Shop Cash Offer Bonus, resulting in a total of US$1,000 in Shop Cash Offer Campaign Credits received under this Welcome Offer.
- If you spend US$20,000 or more in total Eligible Purchases during the Promotional Period (the “$20,000 Spend Threshold” and together with the US$5,000 Spend Threshold and the $10,000 Spend Threshold, the “Spend Thresholds”), you will qualify and receive an additional $1,000 in Shop Cash Offer Campaign Credits (the “$1,000 Shop Cash Offer Bonus” and together with the $250 Shop Cash Offer Bonus and $750 Shop Cash Offer Bonus, the “Welcome Bonuses”). This $1,000 Shop Cash Offer Bonus will be in addition to the previous $250 Shop Cash Offer Bonus and $750 Shop Cash Offer Bonus, resulting in a total of US$2,000 in Shop Cash Offer Campaign Credits received under this Welcome Offer.
For the avoidance of doubt, your qualification for the Spend Thresholds are evaluated on a cumulative basis throughout the Promotional Period. The maximum amount of Welcome Bonuses that you may qualify and receive under this Welcome Offer is US$2,000 in Shop Cash Offer Campaign Credits.
“Shop Cash Offer Campaign Credits” refer to promotional credits that may be applied by Shopify merchants towards Shop Cash Offers. “Shop Cash Offers” means the feature provided on the Shopify platform that is governed by the Shop Cash Merchant Terms and allows eligible Shopify merchants to create offers that increase the value of a customer’s Shop Cash on their storefront. “Shop Cash” is a reward available to certain eligible Shop app customers with a phone number in the United States who pay for eligible transactions using Shop Pay and is governed by the Shop Rewards Terms and Conditions. “Shop Pay” refers to Shopify’s accelerated checkout that is governed by the Shop Pay Merchant Terms.
“Eligible Purchases” refer to purchases using your Card for goods and services for business purposes, minus merchant credits and plus or minus appropriate purchase adjustments posted. “Eligible Purchases” do not include balance transfers, cash advances and other cash-like transactions, travelers checks, foreign currency, money orders, or wire transfers, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers or similar betting transactions, any checks that access your account, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, and fees of any kind. Eligible Purchases can be made by you and your authorized users using the Cards linked to your single Card Account. To meet a Spend Threshold, Eligible Purchases must be posted to your Card Account and posted during the Promotional Period.
All Welcome Bonuses will be fulfilled in the form of Shop Cash Offer Campaign Credits. The amount of Shop Cash Offer Campaign Credits you receive will depend on the Spend Thresholds you meet during the Promotional Period.
- If you meet a Spend Threshold and repay in full the Card Statement that includes the Eligible Purchases responsible for meeting the Spend Threshold (such statement, the “Qualifying Card Statement”) before September 15, 2023, you can expect to receive the applicable Welcome Bonus in your Shopify account on or around October 1, 2023.
- If you meet a Spend Threshold on or after September 15, 2023, you can expect to receive the applicable Welcome Bonus in your Shopify account within 2 to 3 weeks after your repayment in full of the Qualifying Card Statement.
For clarity, as an example, if you meet the $5,000 Spend Threshold in your August Card Statement and pay in full your August Card Statement on September 5, 2023, you will receive a $250 Shop Cash Offer Bonus in your Shopify account on or around October 1, 2023. If you meet the $10,000 Spend Threshold in your September Card Statement and pay in full your September Card Statement on October 25, 2023, you will receive a $750 Shop Cash Offer Bonus in your Shopify account within 2 to 3 weeks of October 25, 2023.
You will receive an email or notification via your Shopify admin when a Welcome Bonus has been added to your Shopify account and is available for your use towards Shop Cash Offers. Your use of Shop Cash Offers is subject to your acceptance of the Shop Cash Merchant Terms.
In order to receive, view and use any Welcome Bonuses, you must comply with the following requirements: (i) you must use Shop Pay as a payment method on your storefront; (ii) you must have installed the Shop channel in your Shopify admin; and (iii) all products sold on your storefront must fully comply with the Shopify Acceptable Use Policy, the Shopify Payments Terms of Service and the Shop Content Policy. Your Card Account must also be in good standing and must not be canceled or past due at the time of fulfillment of this Welcome Offer and any Welcome Bonuses. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in the forfeiture of any Welcome Bonuses.
Shop Cash Offer Campaign Credits must be used within six (6) months of receipt of such Shop Cash Offer Campaign Credits in your Shopify account. Shop Cash Offer Campaign Credits may only be redeemed with respect to Shop Cash Offers, and will be automatically applied to any future Shop Cash Offer fees due until you no longer have any remaining Shop Cash Offer Campaign Credits.
Shop Cash Offer Campaign Credits may not in any event be applied to any other Shopify provided service, feature or application, prior purchases, taxes, shipping or delivery charges, or toward the purchase of any gift cards. Shop Cash Offer Campaign Credits are non-transferable, not valid for cash or cash equivalent, and cannot be combined with other offers. Payments made using Shop Cash Offer Campaign Credits are non-refundable.
If we in our sole discretion determine that you have engaged in abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this Welcome Offer in any way or that you intend to do so (for example, if you cancel your Card Account within 12 months after acquiring it; or if you cancel or return purchases that were made to meet a Spend Threshold), we may not provide, we may freeze, or we may take away Welcome Bonuses from your Shopify account. We may also cancel this Card Account.
This Welcome Offer expires on October 31, 2023. Shopify retains the right to modify or revoke this Welcome Offer at any time. This Welcome Offer is limited to one offer per Card Account, and cannot be combined with any other offer. Shopify retains the sole right to determine if you have met the eligibility requirements for this Welcome Offer, and our decision shall be final.
Terms and conditions for the Shopify Credit Rewards Program apply and are hereby incorporated by reference. Unless otherwise indicated, capitalized terms used but not defined in this Welcome Offer have the meanings given in the Shopify Credit Rewards Program Terms.
