Presenting a wide variety of home furnishing products, the brand blends creativity with comfort, offering its customers a seamless shopping experience across 28 physical locations and its online channel.
Challenge
Mandaue Foam began its Shopify journey in 2018. The platform enabled the brand to optimize its processes and boost overall efficiency. However, when the pandemic hit, Mandaue Foam saw an exponential rise in its online demand. This amped up the pressure on its sales and order management teams, which were working around the clock. Mandaue Foam recognized that to sustain its growth momentum and take operations to the next level, the brand needed to focus on minimizing its reliance on manual work and instead create scalable processes.
Solutions
Mandaue Foam upgraded to Shopify Plus in 2020 on the advice of its partner Jumpstart Commerce. The brand utilized Launchpad — a tool to schedule, coordinate, and execute events, such as sales, product drops, and inventory restocks. This Shopify Plus exclusive feature enabled Mandaue Foam’s sales team to schedule campaigns and automate the updating of product prices and application of discounts. Moreover, since Launchpad allows teams to track campaign performance in real-time, Mandaue Foam was able to better understand its customers’ behavior and the success of its campaigns.
Mandaue Foam also leveraged Shopify Flow — a feature enabling brands to build custom automations. The brand automated its order management process by creating a workflow in which as soon as an order was placed, one of the 28 physical locations with inventory for that product was informed to process the order. This process ensured the speed of order fulfillment while also eliminating the need to manually track orders.
Results
Shopify Launchpad ramped up the efficiency with which Mandaue Foam rolled out sales campaigns while also freeing up resources to be used for more valuable strategic priorities. As a result of more timely and effective sales campaigns, the brand was able to engage more potential customers, increase orders, and boost its total sales.
Shopify Flow enhanced the order management process, ensuring that orders were communicated in real-time, while also eliminating the need for Mandaue Foam’s headquarters to intervene to communicate orders. With an improved order fulfillment process, the brand was able to enhance its customer experience, leading to a boost in its returning customer rate.
Since moving to Shopify Plus, Mandaue Foam has seen:
