How La Rosée increased Sales by 88% in three months

La Rosée, a French natural cosmetics brand, was founded in 2015 by two passionate pharmacists dedicated to creating products that are both good for the skin and the planet. Their mission? Blending the best of dermatological science with the purest natural ingredients. Positioned at the intersection of cosmetics and dermatology, La Rosée is known for its transparency, clinically approved formulas, and eco-friendly packaging. This commitment has driven the brand's rapid expansion from 250 to nearly 9,500 pharmacies, almost half of all pharmacies in France.

However, their ecommerce journey wasn't exactly easy. They initially used PrestaShop but needed more autonomy and flexibility to build the website they truly wanted, as well as more agility and control to support their growth. This led them to switch to Shopify in July 2023, aiming to elevate their online presence and support their international expansion.

Since moving to Shopify, La Rosée has seen:

Challenge: Boosting ecommerce efficiency and scalability

Before migrating to Shopify, La Rosée faced significant ecommerce challenges, including the need for a more user-friendly navigation, better site flexibility, and stability. During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, La Rosée launched their first TV ad, leading to a surge in ecommerce traffic that their website couldn't handle, resulting in lost sales. In July 2023, La Rosée transitioned to Shopify to improve site management, enhance performance, and support international expansion.

Firstly, La Rosée implemented Shopify Flow to manage complex commercial offers and streamline the purchase process. Shopify Flow helps recruit opt-ins and collect skin diagnosis data, allowing La Rosée to segment their customer base better and personalize their journey.

La Rosée also used Translate & Adapt to create a multilingual site. Being able to sell in the local language is crucial for their international growth. Additionally, Klaviyo was integrated to manage newsletters and enhance customer engagement.
